Trudo
Motmans

LAWYER

Trudo Motmans, born on April 14, 1956, holds degrees in philosophy (UFSIA 1975), law (KUL 1981), and company law (KUB 1993). Additionally, he has an Advanced Development Program Certificate from Chicago Booth (London 2010).
Trudo worked as a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar from 1981 to 2008 and was a member of the Executive Committee of CMS LEGAL, an international network of law firms with 6,300 lawyers in 45 countries, from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2022, he served as the executive chairman of S.R.I.F. N.V., a holding company of the Asco Industries group, specializing in the development and production of complex aircraft components for all the major OEM's.
Currently, Trudo is a board member in several companies and industry organizations, including Asco Industries NV, SRIF NV, Rf-Technologies (Chair), Agoria (Vice-Chair 2016-2022), Agoria Vlaanderen (Chair 2016-2022), and FLAG (Flemish Aerospace Group) (Chair). He is also a member of the General Council and an auditor of the research organization SIRRIS. In 2025, Trudo rejoined the Antwerp Bar, practicing with Motmans Law BV.
With seasoned experience in corporate and commercial law, as an (executive) chairman with internationally active companies, and as chairman of technology federations, Trudo focuses on the core legal requirements of businesses and non-profit organizations both nationally and internationally to create real value for the clients. He has contributed to several publications, including "Winstbewijzen revisited" and the "Leidraad voor de Voorzitter van de raad van bestuur". Trudo is proficient in Dutch, French, English, and German.

Nicola
Motmans

LAWYER

Nicola Motmans, born on August 25, 1989, holds degrees in, law (Uni. Antwerp 2013), and a ManaMa corporate law (KUL 2015).
Nicola worked as a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar from 2013 to 2022. From 2022 to 2025, he served as the group legal counsel of SLG Invest NV a holding company of the Sports and Leisure Group, specializing in the development, production and installation of artificial grass surfaces for leisure, landscaping and sports purposes. He continues to be closely involved in the legal support of the group.
In 2025, Nicola rejoined the Antwerp Bar, practicing with Motmans Law BV. As a founding partner of Motmans Law, he combines in-depth legal expertise with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach to help clients navigate and securing complex transactions and corporate challenges.
Nicola has extensive experience in legal due diligence, contract drafting and negotiations, and post-acquisition integration. Over the years, he has advised a wide range of clients, from startups to large corporations, on structuring and executing deals, securing investments, and ensuring legal compliance in high-stakes transactions.
